Garage Gym Goals: Turning Our Three-Car Garage into a Fitness Haven

Ah, the garage—where unfinished projects go to wait their turn! Painting the garage floors was one of those projects that kept getting pushed back, but even without that glossy, finished floor, we managed to turn our three-car garage into a pretty awesome gym space.

With all that extra room, we created a setup where I could easily hook up my road bike to the Wahoo bike trainer for those indoor rides. Add in a water row machine (thanks to my parents for that one!) and some older Bowflex dumbbells, and we were well on our way to a mini home gym.

We had an extra TV lying around, so naturally, we mounted it on the wall—because what’s a workout space without a little entertainment, right? Beside it, we installed sleek white and grey New Age garage cabinets to store all our tools, sports equipment, and random gear that tends to clutter up garages. These cabinets really helped keep things organized and gave the space a polished look.

And let’s be real—I’m always on a mission to declutter, so this space stays pretty tidy. Anything we’re not using? Out it goes. The goal is to keep only the things that bring value, and right now, this space is bringing major value as a functional, organized, and motivating spot for working out.

One day, I’ll get around to painting those floors, but for now, we’re loving our clean, efficient garage gym setup. It’s the perfect place to break a sweat, catch up on some shows (or bike races), and still have room for everything else a garage needs to hold!
