Goodbye to Our First Home, Hello to New Adventures!

It’s official: after five amazing years in our first house, we’re packing up and heading back to Southern California! Our first home will always hold a special place in our hearts, filled with countless memories, tons of DIY projects (some more successful than others!), and the friendships we made along the way. From sprucing up the yard to completely transforming rooms, this house has truly been a labor of love.

We’ve poured so much of ourselves into every corner, and it’s hard to believe we’re saying goodbye. But as bittersweet as it is, we’re beyond excited for this next chapter. Moving back to our hometown feels like a full-circle moment—heading back to the sunshine, the beaches, and, of course, being closer to family.

We’ll definitely miss this place—there’s just something about your first home that leaves an imprint on your heart. The memories made here will always stay with us, from late-night DIY sessions to hosting family holidays. But now, we’re ready for new adventures, new projects, and new memories to create in Southern California. Here’s to new beginnings and all that awaits us!
